International frontier AI verification and emergency coordination

This family covers the people who would verify frontier AI development and coordinate emergency response across borders, if legitimate international institutions are ever agreed. AI companies need to understand it because any such regime would shape how they build, report and respond.

Demand is not live yet. These roles are scenarios, and they depend on governments creating a mandate that does not currently exist. Interest is forming because talk of shared checks on compute and shared incident response keeps returning to who would do the work. The hiring problem is that nobody has held these jobs. Strong candidates tend to come from inspection, assurance or crisis coordination, and need technical credibility plus patience with institutions. Be wary of anyone who treats current policy work as the same thing.
