Autonomous agent institutions and economic coordination

This family covers the governance of agent ecosystems that act in the economy: who an agent is, what it may do, and who answers when it goes wrong. It is scenario work today, but AI companies building agents that transact will meet these questions first.

Agents are starting to buy, sell and negotiate on behalf of people and firms, so questions of identity, authority and accountability arrive before any settled answers. Every role here is a scenario, not an established job. That makes hiring tricky. Titles are loose, track records are thin, and candidates come from economics, digital identity, governance or multi-agent systems. Look for people who reason clearly about accountability, and who are honest that current multi-agent engineering does not give agents legal standing or rights.

What would rule it out
Persistent reliability limits or lack of useful cost advantage prevents broad delegation.

We give no date. The role becomes real if both conditions hold.
