Computer vision and spatial perception
Computer vision and spatial perception is the work of getting useful information out of images, video and depth data, or generating it. AI companies need it so their products can see, measure and make sense of the physical world.
More products now take in pictures and video, not just text, and teams are finding that off-the-shelf models stop short in real settings. Lighting changes, cameras differ, and unfamiliar objects turn up. The hires are tricky because the field is wide. A strong detection engineer may know little about 3D geometry or video. Medical imaging and robot control also carry their own domain demands, so check the fit carefully.
