Security teams are testing AI on alerts, triage and response, and the early results have made buyers curious and cautious in equal measure. Automation here needs explicit permissions and operational safeguards, so a clever model is not enough. The tricky part is finding people who understand attacker behaviour and live security data, and who can also build or judge AI systems. Most come from security operations, detection engineering or incident response, and few have shipped ML.
